One definition of the word “ministry” as defined in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary is, “the office, duties, or functions of a minister”. We at GBC pursue living out our ministry defined, according to II Corinthians 5:18, that all believers have been given the ministry of reconciliation. To share the Gospel of the Grace of God. That by believing in what the completed work of our Lord Jesus Christ did for us upon Calvary is our Salvation. That He paid our debt, for our sins, and that He has reconciled us to Himself by the Cross. We believe all believers are the ministers of God, and should be active in living out their calling for the Lord’s work. Not all the work is to be left to pastors of local assemblies, but rather a body of believers using the gifts God has given them to the use of the ministry.

The leaders at GBC seek to be obedient to their instructions given by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:12, which is to build up believers to the work of the ministry, and the overall edification of the Body of Christ.

It is all about the ministry.

Jesus Christ paid the price, and paved the way. The response is on us...

As the Lord said in Mathew 9:37,

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few”
